From April 20-22, art lovers and collectors will be offered a "sumptuous selection" of old master paintings, 19th century paintings, jewellery and antiques.
The sale will be held by auction house Dorotheum, which hopes to continue its 2009 performance, "the second most successful year in the Dorotheum's history."
Antiques will be sold over two separate events, with furniture and silver presented on April 21 and sculpture, glass and porcelain on April 22.
A second major auction week focussing on modern and contemporary art, art nouveau and design is scheduled to take place in May.
Highlights at the event will include: Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, Il Guercino (1591 - 1666) - estimated at €400,000-600,000 - and Tina Blau's (1845-1916) Birches near the Rotunda, Vienna Prater 1914, estimated at €150,000-220,000.
The auctions will take place in Vienna.
