Great Britain 1841 2d pale blue Plate 3, SG13.
A superb unused, original gum, four margin right hand marginal example with full deckle edge and inscription, lettered 'GL'.
A great rarity and quite exceptional in this quality.
The 2d pale blue, plate 3 was finished on 25 February 1841 and printing from it commenced two days later. The stamps were printed on Small Crown watermarked paper, which often shows considerable blueing.
