Wally's Auctions wine debut set for November 13 in NY
A new wine auction house named Wally's Auctions will open in New York on November 13, with a selection of wines valued at $3m.

The new auction house is headed by ex-Zachys auctioneer Michael Jessen

The sale will take place at the Whitney Museum of American Art, with guests invited to dine in the restaurant where food will be served by a world-class chef.

With the newly-established auction house hoping to impress New York's thriving wine collecting market, all the usual frontrunners will feature, including a lot of 2010 Grand Crus from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (DRC) valuedat $85,000-130,000, according to Decanter.com.

Wally's Auctions will fact stiff competition from the top auction houses in New York, Acker, Merral and Condit, Zachys, Sotheby's and Christie's.
