Christie's November 14 auction of fine wines and spirits in New York will feature 40 carefully-curated lots of whisky, cognac, bourbon, armagnac, rum and more.
Cosignors to the sale include the Park Avenue Liquor Shop, one of the most respected spirits retailers in the US.
However, the sale that is on everyone's lips is the first-ever US auction offering of the exceedingly rare 1964 Bowmore Trilogy, direct from the renowned Bowmore distillery in Scotland.

The 1964 Bowmore Trilogy seems certain to become one of the most-coveted items on the wish list of every devoted whisky collector this season, and will go under the hammer with an estimate of $18,000-24,000.
The three-bottle lot includes the newly-released Gold Bowmore, White Bowmore (released in 2008) and Black Bowmore (released in 2007).

As one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, and the first distillery to be established on the island of Islay, Bowmore is regarded by many as the best balanced single malt Scotch whisky in the world, characterised by wonderfully rich and complex flavors.
Located on Islay's shores of Loch Indaal, the distillery's close proximity to the sea and its adherence to traditional production methods are vital factors in creating its warm, smoky character.
Like the previously-released whiskies in the Trilogy, Gold Bowmore is matured below sea level in the distillery's celebrated Number One vault.
Over 44 years, it developed a rich, gold colour and a complex balance of aromas and flavors reminiscent of exotic fruit, vanilla, and gentle peat smoke.
Aside from the Bowmore trilogy, an exceptional selection of fine and rare wines will round out the sale, with recent and mature vintages of Bordeaux and Burgundy in great supply, along with collector favourites from California, Italy, and the Rhône Valley.
The total sale of wine and spirits includes over 800 lots and is expected to realise in excess of $2.1 million.
The Fine Wines and Spirits sale will be held in Christie's New York on November 14.
