King Edward VIII famously abdicated in order to marry Simpson, an American socialite, as his role as the head of the Church of England did not allow him to marry a divorcee.
The couple went on to live a jet-setting lifestyle - travelling widely across the world.
We have this handwritten and signed letter from Wallis Simpson for sale, penned on her honeymoon with Edward in 1937.
