Patek Philippe 5004T nets $3.98m at Only Watch auction

A Patek Philippe ref 5004T watch sold for $3.98m against an estimate of $674,600 at the Only Watch charity auction in Monaco on September 28.

The watch is based on the discontinued Grand Complications series and is crafted in titanium - the first 5004 to be made from this material.

33 lots appeared at the auction, including a Richard Mille Tourbillon prototype Yohan Blake which achieved $472,220 and a Dewitt Twenty-8 Skeleton Tourbillon watch that made $161,904. In total, the sale raised over $8m for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
