A one of a kind Hermes Kelly handbag has achieved a new record for its type at auction, realising $125,000 at Heritage Auctions in Dallas.
The unique matte geranium porosus crocodile and black togo leather sellier Kelly bag with feet was the headline lot of the December 10-11 Holiday Luxury Signature Auction.

Matt Rubinger, director of luxury accessories at Heritage Auctions, commented on the sale: "After setting the record for the top 10 most valuable Hermes bags sold at auction, taking the record for a Kelly bag rounds out another stellar year".
The event achieved sales of more than $10m.
The record for any handbag at auction remains $203,150 - set by a Hermes Birkin at Heritage Auctions in 2011.
