An archive pertaining to international polo player Eric Horace Tyrrell-Martin (1905-1953) is among the highlights at PFC Auctions, with the sale due to close on October 1.

The lot consists of hundreds of fascinating photographs and newspaper clippings relating to his career in addition to a significant number of trophies (many of them silver).

The auction features a cigar smoked by Winston Churchill, a mask worn by Lady Gaga and a magazine signed by Paul McCartney and Christopher Reeve.
