An Apollo 11 flown flag was the top lot at Nate D Sanders' January 30 auction, achieving $63,195.
The flag is attached to a certificate that reads: "This flag traveled to the Moon with Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing, July 20, 1969.''

It features the signatures of Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins in pen, and despite some light toning is in exceptional condition.
Recently, Apollo 11 flown flags have seen a rise in price point, with another example realising $71,875 at Heritage Auctions last year.

A china soup plate from founding father Thomas Jefferson's White House was another highlight, making $26,121.

It is made from white china with blue accents and includes a central shield with a monogrammed J at its centre. Jefferson (1743-1826) was president of the United States between 1801 and 1809.
In May last year, a signed letter from Thomas Jefferson made $19,000 at Swann Auction Galleries.
A pair of rocking chairs from Abraham Lincoln's Springfield, Illinois residence made $26,121.
The chairs were left to a friend on Lincoln's ascension to the White House and have since been refurbished, with a stencil design added.
