A Palitoy Star Wars Death Star realised �2,200 ($3,314) at Vectis Auctions in Thornaby, UK on December 8.
It beat an estimate of �800 ($1,205) by 175%.

Released in 1978, the lot is in near mint condition in its original box. As a bonus it includes the original trade box that it was delivered to the store in.
The record for a Star Wars figurine stands at �18,000 - set for a Palitoy Boba Fett at Vectis Auctions earlier this year.
