A unique Italian poster for classic movie Casablanca (1946) will star in a sale of movie posters at Heritage Auctions on July 29-30.
The poster has undergone some restoration
The lot is believed to be the only surviving specimen of this design.
With a valuation of up to $360,000, it’s set to become one of the top five most valuable movie posters ever sold.
Grey Smith, Heritage Auctions’ director of vintage posters, said: "This Casablanca rarity is one of the finest in the entire hobby.
"To own this poster is on par with owning the pinnacle of poster art."
