These three stunning Lincoln Zephyr 12 cylinder coupes originate from a single owner collection.
They’re now set to be one of the biggest draws in Bonhams’ Amelia Island sale on March 8.
This 1939 Lincoln Zephyr has been carefully restored
All were made between 1939 and 1942 and have been comprehensively kitted out with period-correct parts and details.
The Zephyr was designed with streamlining in mind, although the enormous speed boat style grill didn’t do a whole lot to reduce drag.
You can’t argue with the aesthetics though.
The car was relatively affordable at the time and soon became the weapon of choice for Californian hot rodders.
These days most collectors are interested in Zephyrs that have retained their original looks.
Bonhams comments: “The iconic streamlined Art Deco masterpiece that is the Zephyr has become increasingly sought after with time as its forward-thinking styling and superior build quality grow ever more apparent.
“Long the focus of hot rodders and customizers due to its gorgeous looks, slippery profile and powerful motor, a stock Zephyr Coupe in stellar condition is an uncommon sight.
“As such, these three single-collection examples – each one a true standout – offer a unique opportunity for enthusiasts of vintage American automobiles.”
All of the cars are sold without reserve.
They’re all likely to break the $100,000 barrier.
