It carries an opening bid of $1,000.

The opulent set is thought to have been destined for the first class restaurant aboard the ship, or possibly provided to VIPs as only a small number of pieces featuring the same pattern have ever surfaced.
The bottom of the saucer bears the mark of Spode Copeland's China along with the White Star Line logo.
The sale will also feature a loving cup presented to Captain Arthur Rostron of the rescue ship Carpathia by the "unsinkable" Molly Brown.
