A rare tin-plate market toy by long running Rock & Graner has crossed the block at Bonhams this afternoon, selling for $12,500.

The market stall, a wonderfully intricate piece featuring hand painted signs and fake food, comes from the world's oldest manufacturer of tin toys and was produced in 1875.
More highlights from the sale include a Huntley and Palmer Ginger Nuts van, which has retained its original box despite being made in 1937. It sold for ?�2,500 ($4,206).
