A poster for Charlie Chaplin's The Kid headlined a sale of pieces from the collection of much-loved actor and director Richard Attenborough.

It sold for ?�37,500 ($57,757) in the October 22 auction at Bonhams London.
Other pieces included the amber cane carried by Attenborough in the original Jurassic Park movie, which sold for ?�13,750 ($21,179).
Jon Baddeley, managing director at Bonhams London, said: "The impressive total and the fierce bidding on many lots is a tribute to the affection and respect in which Lord Attenborough was held by people in Britain and around the world."
