An armchair made for Marie Antoinette in 1780 will star in a sale of French art and furniture at Christie's London on July 9.

It's valued at ?�300,000-500,000 ($460,636-767,727).
The lot is the only surviving example from a suite of eight fauteuil en bergere chairs designed by Francois II Foliot. It was housed at the Pavillon Belvedere at Versailles.
It cost 20,000 livres, an astronomical sum at the time, and was sold off after the revolution.
