JFK crime-scene photos go up for auction at J Levine

A series of photographs and documents from the collection of a crime-scene investigator who worked on John F Kennedy's assassination case will go up for sale with J Levine Auctions & Appraisals on March 6.

Cecil Kirk was one of the chief photographers of the crime scene, and also testified at hearings regarding the assassination

The collection comes to the Arizona auction house from Cecil Kirk (d. 2011), who was a supervisor with the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police for more than two decades.

He was assigned to take photographs of the assassination site and testified in several congressional hearings.

In December, a blanket that was in the presidential limousine at the time of JFK's assassination sold for $61,559, displaying the collectability of Kennedy memorabilia.

Paul Fraser Collectibles has some of the finest John F Kennedy memorabilia available, along with a superb array of presidential collectibles.
