A pair of wooden rocking chairs from Abraham Lincoln's home in Springfield, Illinois are leading an online sale at Nate D Sanders with a bid of $17,270.

The auction will close on January 30.

The chairs were left to a family friend in Springfield when Lincoln was elected to the White House. They were refurbished with a stencil design in the 1930s.
