A 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe has seen the highest bids at Mecum Auctions' sale at the Bloomington Gold 2013 Corvette show in Illinois.

Selling on June 29, the car made $100,000. A fully original 1967 Corvette, it retains its original documentation as well as the dealer invoice, full owner history, service receipts and period photographs.
The car also boasts its original window sticker, which shows that its first owner paid the extremely attractive price of just $5,507.
It was offered in a pair with another original, unrestored Corvette, which was used as a pilot car and produced especially to validate the design of the 1967 Corvette model.
