A 1948 Veritas RS racing car is to headline Coys' August 9 sale at the Nurburgring in Nurburg, Germany with a $535,412-669,265 estimate.

Veritas was established in West Germany in the aftermath of the second world war and initially upgraded BMWs for racing before manufacturing its own models.
The lot is one of very few surviving examples. It was recently fully restored and has since competed in a number of races and rallies across Europe.
