A 1934 Alfa Romeo 8C-2300 Le Mans Tourer is to auction as part of Bonhams' Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 12.
The impressive sports car carries a £1.8m ($2.7m) top estimate, having attended a multitude of sporting events both at home and on the continent.

Although the Alfa Romeo's original coachwork style remains unknown, the car was rebodied in its present Le Mans style coachwork during the late 1970s. The car is considered in excellent driving condition and retains its original engine and chassis number.
A historic 1954 Mercedes, twice driven to victory by five-time world champion racing driver Juan Manuel Fangio is also to star at Goodwood on July 12.
