Music memorabilia collectors will also be logging on, looking for potentially undervalued items of the now defunct US rock band at the sale, which ends on Friday July 22.
Among the standout lots is a custom made leather guitar strap used several times onstage by the band's lead guitarist Jerry Garcia.

Once sold at the Butterfield and Butterfield Garcia Estate auction for $20,000, the Nudie strap has a minimum bid of $15,000.
Also attracting interest is a guest book of the Modern Musical Services company, signed by the band on October 17, 1967.
Other signatures of note in the book include John Densmore and Robby Kreiger of the Doors, several members of English band the Animals, the 5th Dimension and Del Shannon, famed for his 1961 single Runaway.
With a day to go, the book has already surpassed its high estimate of $1,300, with the leading bid currently standing at $1,755.
The items feature alongside the guitar strap Jimi Hendrix used in his guitar burning set at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. A self-penned Elvis set list is also up for grabs.
Collectors looking for unique items of music memorabilia without the uncertainty of bidding at auction may be interested in this piece of sheet music, signed by Bob Dylan, or this Are You Experienced album signed by Jimi Hendrix in 1967.
