Luftwaffe ace-signed covers to lead UK autograph sale

A set of covers featuring the signatures of 270 Luftwaffe aces could make between £5,000-7,000 ($8,513-11,919) at Chaucer Autograph Auctions in Folkestone, UK on July 25.

The collection was accrued by aviation enthusiast Hans Rossbach during the 1970s and also includes signatures from Willy Messerschmitt, Albert Speer and Werner Von Braun.

Rossbach collected a huge number of signatures in the aftermath of the second world war - including those of RAF pilots.
