New York’s Museum of Modern Art has just opened a major retrospective of British artist David Hockney.

David Hockney's most recent work includes landscapes of the Yorkshire countryside 

The show, which runs until February 27, includes pieces from throughout Hockney’s career – ranging from his swimming pool paintings of the 1980s to his more recent work inspired by the landscapes of Yorkshire, UK and California.

This marks the first time the show has appeared in the US.
