The sale will mark the first time the painting has appeared on the open market since its creation in 1916. Considered one of the most important masterpieces of the Russian avant-garde, it is estimated to sell for £1.8m-2.2m ($2.9m-3.5m).
Alongside paintings, the sale will also feature a selection of Faberge and Russian works of art, including important pieces from the estate of Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester (1900-1974).
