An important collection of art nouveau lithographs detailing the four season by pioneer Alphonse Mucha will sell at Bonhams on June 14.

The collection will be offered as part of the auction house's 20th Century Decorative Arts auction in New York, with the group of four separate lithographs - created by Mucha in 1896 - expected to sell for $60,000-80,000.
Mucha kick-started the familiar style of art nouveau on the release of his poster for Gismonda, a play by Victorien Sardou, in 1894. Four Seasons is one of his best loved works.
Mucha's The Stars, another set of four separate lithographs, sold for £91,250 ($145,179) at Christie's in April - a 52% increase on the £60,000 high estimate.
