Skinner's upcoming April Discovery auction is taking studio artwork and ephemera out of Soho lofts and onto the auction block on April 14-15.
The sale promises attractively varied selection of American & European paintings, prints, sculpture & works on paper.
These are better quality works than one might typically find at an estate auction, according to Skinner, with a greater number of works by well-known and listed artists.

Among the auction's main attractions is a Steinway & Sons Black Lacquered Baby Grand Piano - the likes have which have been favoured by the likes of Beatles legend John Lennon and Elton John.
The two day, 1,200 lot auction kicks off on Wednesday at 2pm in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with over 500 lots of Studio Artwork; while Thursday's 10am session features American, European, Asian furniture & decorative arts.
Highlights will include Victoriana, ceramics, art glass, lamps, and property from a Martha's Vineyard estate.
