Koller Auctions of Geneva, Switzerland, is holding an auction of Art Nouveau and Art Deco on May 19.
Highlights in the auction will include an impressive bronze sculpture by Franz Von Stuck, titled Amazon on horseback.
Only two monumental versions of this bronze exist. One from 1913-14 stands in front of the Villa Stuck Museum in Munich.
Another, from 1895, can be found in the Weidendamm Park in Eberswalde, north of Berlin.

Typical of the artist's works are are the taut, muscular forms of the warrior and the sinuous tension depicted in the horse. The sculpture is estimated at €6,900-10,400.
Von Stuck was one of the founders of the "Münchner Secession" along with other such illustrious artists including Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth.
Other highlights in the sale include a "Poissons" lamp by René Lalique crowned by a "Larmes" frosted glass lampshade. It will auction in the sale's glassware section, also estimated at €6,900-10,400.
