The photograph was inscribed to Andy Engman (1911 – 2004), a renowned animator who worked for Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California from 1937 until 1971.
He started his career as an uncredited 'In-Betweener' animator on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and later worked on Donald Duck and Goofy shorts, as well as features such as Fantasia and Pinocchio, before moving into management at the studio.
