Dated December 1, 1905 and signed neatly on the reverse "Thomas A Edison".
Featuring decorative borders and a wonderful engraved portrait of Edison himself.
The certificate measures 15.75" x 8" and is in fine condition, with its original receipt still affixed intact on the left-hand edge.
Includes the usual cancellation punch holes which do not affect Edison's signature.
For much of his life, and particularly after he trademarked his famous signature in 1899, Edison signed the vast majority of documents using the abbreviated form of his name "Thos" instead of "Thomas".
