- An authentic strand of hair from Princess Sophia (1777-1848)
Princess Sophia was one of King George III’s four daughters and thus an aunt to Queen Victoria. She served as a companion to her mother Princess Charlotte until her death in 1818. As a result, she never married.
Princess Sophia's governess Lady Charlotte Finch (1725-1813) collected this hair in 1786.
It comes presented on an 8 x 5.75 inch display card, perfect for framing.
The hair is an intriguing addition to any royal memorabilia collection.
