The 1982 card is addressed to Mrs. Williams and reads "With all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year" in strong black lettering. Underneath this printed greeting, Charles has signed in black fountain pen "and for the racing season! From Charles and ", Diana finishes simply with her autograph in blue ink alongside. The flourish of their black and blue fountain pens finishes with underlined emphasis under their names.
