Mauritius 1878 (1 Jan) new currency surcharges set of 9 to 2r50 on 5s, in blocks of four, SG83/91. The 4c, 17c, 25c and 38c wing marginal with large part original gum and with lovely fresh colours. Odd inconsequential imperfections (wrinkles, short perforations, 38c block with creasing) but a rare and stunning set, with the lower pairs of the 2c, 8c, 13c and 50c blocks unmounted.
