A business document signed by Marilyn Monroe as President of Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc. on April 2, 1957.
Comprised of 32 pages, measuring approx. 8.5 x 11 inches.
This document relates to a special meeting of stock-holders in Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc. to appoint four new company directors.
The meeting took place in New York on April 12, 1957 - the day after Monroe issued a statement against her business partner Milton Greene, and began proceedings to remove him from the company.
The evening before, Monroe had also famously outshone the Duchess of Windsor on the red carpet at the April in Paris Ball at the Waldorf Astoria.
The document is in fine condition, with a staple to the upper left corner, and features Monroe's signature on the front covering letter.
Monroe signs clearly in crisp blue ink above her printed title of "President".
A very good Marilyn Monroe item with an exceptional signature, which beautifully highlights her savvy business sense and her fight for independence against the Hollywood studio system.
