These were a series of September 1984 avant-garde music and theatrical performances at Symphony Space, New York City.
The event was designed to raise money for the New Arts Program in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, which was established in 1974. Kutztown was Haring's hometown.
Haring created the poster using the lithograph technique.
