Indian Feudatory States Idar 1932-43 ½a (pale) yellow-green (thick paper), white panels, complete booklet pane of 4, SG1a.

A fine and fresh mint positional block with large part original gum. Trivial wrinkles, which do not detract from such a fine piece.

A scarce stamp as a pane.

Idar was a Princely state in the Western India States Agency (presently in Gujarat state). The state’s first postal stamps were issued from 1932 to 1943 under the reign of Maharaja Himmat Singhji who ruled between 1931 to 1960.
