Very fine example of the “Pillar” design, beautifully executed in pen and ink on soft white card (80 x 84mm) with a grey wash to add shading the decorative frame touched in with a darker ink which was also used in the central vignette painted around an outline to create a head. An extremely attractive and unique essay.
