A very fine unmounted mint example of the 17½p Kensington Palace stamp with the silver (Queen’s head) omitted, offered alongside a normal example for comparison and display purposes.

The missing silver silhouette creates a dramatic and instantly visible contrast on the Queen's head.

A major QEII error now very attractively priced. It was previously listed in the SG catalogue at a value of £1,500.
