A superb unmounted mint, with full original gum, bottom marginal horizontal imperforate imprimatur pair of the 1958 3d deep lilac from the sideways coil printing on cream paper (Watermark Crowns Sideways).
Each stamp bears the "BPMA" (British Postal Museum & Archive) handstamp on reverse.
Exceptionally fresh and well preserved.
A scarce Queen Elizabeth II imperforate pair of imprimaturs.
Exceptional provenance as they were released from the British Postal Museum Archives in 2014. Prior to this they were stored in the museum archives in climate controlled vaults since being printed and are therefore in uncirculated mint condition.
