Great Britain 1878 1 ½ Die proof for lighter and more fugitive colours. Very fine example printed in deep mauve on yellowish white wove paper (42x42mm) watermarked 'small star', numbered '35' in reverse below design, overprinted 'SPECIMEN' type 10. Usual pin hole from being pinned to the printers/post office record book. Very rare and fine. SG DP57
