The reverse bearing a superb. crisp strike of the rare Guernsey Ship Letter handstamp in black alongside a Guernsey cds also in black for AP.20.1842 and a London receiever cds for AP.24.1842 in red. This handstamp is recorded in use only in 1842 and believed to be one of seven known examples. Spec GGC 10.
