A superb unused example from the small trial sheet of twelve.
The small plate of 12 impressions was made because the first 2d plate of the new type 'with white lines' was not ready and specimens were required for distribution to postmasters with the announcement of the forthcoming issue.
There were no letters in the lower corners. Printings were in full deep blue.
