A very fine used example with three good margins, just touched at left, tied to an entire letter to Eaton Bishop by a perfectly struck red Maltese Cross.
The reverse bears a Great Heywood UDC and Rugeley and Hereford circular date stamps dated 'JY.13 & 14.1841' respectively.
A very attractive and rare usage of the red Maltese Cross.
