Forme 3 Stereo A170. Fine used unfolded example sent locally within London, cancelled by a very fine black MC with a “T.P./Cornhill" handstamp below. Backstamped with a London evening duty datestamp for OC 20.1840. Very scarce example of the experimental London usage of black cancelling ink prior to it's official adoption in February 1841.
