Reverse. Crowned Royal Arms in cruciform sceptres in angles, garter cross in centre, MAG BRI FR ET HIN REF 1710. 22mm, 41.5g.
GEF - Extremely Fine, considerable amounts of original mint bloom.
Very good example - little wear and much original mint bloom. Rare thus.
After the Union of Crowns in 1707 the arms of England and Scotland are combined in the same shield twice (per pale) rather than as formerly, a shield for England and a shield for Scotland.
