A partially printed military document signed by George IV as Prince Regent.
Signed by George IV "George PR" in the upper left corner, and dated July 23, 1818.
The military document gives leave "unto Lieutenant Thomas White on full pay of His Majesty's 1st Regiment of Foot to exchange with Lieutenant Robert Bothomley on the Half Pay of the 17th Regiment of Foot" and orders the necessary financial arrangements to be made.
Also countersigned by Lord Palmerston as Secretary at War.
This single page document measures 31.5 x 19cm and is in very good condition, with some discolouration and unevenness of toning.
