Copper Halfpenny, 1772, first obverse, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin
legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS. III. REX. rev. first
type, Britannia seated left on globe with spear and olive branch, ball below spear
blade, date in exergue, BRITAN NIA. The Latin legends translate as on obverse "George III King" and on the reverse "of the Britons."
