A glossy 7.25" x 9.75" publicity photo of George Harrison posing with a large fake penguin, signed neatly in red felt tip.
This incredibly rare photograph was originally part of the U.S press pack issued with Harrison's 1976 album Thirty Three & ⅓, and was not widely distributed to fans.
Another image of Harrison and the penguin (a lawn ornament from his much-loved garden at Friar Park) appears on the inside cover of the album's gatefold sleeve.
The photo was signed by Harrison during a release party for the album at the Ambassador West Hotel in Chicago on November 15, 1976.
The photo is in very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, and a small section of old tape on the lower right corner.
Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services.
This is the only signed copy of this scarce photograph we have ever seen, and given its highly limited distribution in 1976 it could very well be unique.
A simply superb item for Beatles fans and music memorabilia collectors.
