Cyprus 1902-04 12pi chestnut and black, watermark CA, lower marginal block of 4 with plate number "1", SG57.
A fine mint positional block of four with original gum (unmounted mint, but right pair with tiny adhesions). Faintly yellowish gum but a scarce and attractive block from the first printing plate.
Position confirmed as right pane R9/10/5-6 by marginal watermark lines.
