Australia 1948-56 ½d orange, no watermark SG228c/cb,, vertical coil strip of 6, showing the prominent variety 'Sky retouch' (right pane, R6/8) on top stamp.
Lovely fine and fresh appearance, unmounted mint with full original gum, with coil join between bottom pair. Minor wrinkles and one faintly toned perforations mentioned purely for accuracy and not detracting from what is a stunning piece.
Very scarce in this form and rarely seen in such fine condition.
